Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including knives and cooking tools
- Support food preparation activities for catering events or special functions
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests or dining staff
- Follow proper food safety procedures during meal preparation and service
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently and positively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and serving staff
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
