Madden’s is currently seeking the position of seasonal Tennis and Pickleball instructor for the 2026 season. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Tennis Professional with instruction for summer tennis and pickleball programs and part-time adult tennis lessons.
Qualifications:- Checking kids in and out of the children program center.
- Respect customers and generate lessons.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of department programs, events, and activities.
- Answers guest questions regarding such programs.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Provides safe environment within facilities and activities.
- Takes direction from Recreation Director
- Performs other duties as required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to keep a calm, professional manner under stressful situations.
- Experience as a Tennis Instructor
- Excellent communication
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Recreation or relevant experience.
- Valid Driver’s License
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No Supervisory Responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Work is performed mainly at our Adventure Cove building but may be outside at pools.
Physical Demands:
Primarily stationery such as sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk/hear, both in person and by telephone, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50-pounds and items sometimes repeatedly.
Expected Hours of Work:
Varying work schedule during summer months including nights and weekends.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel is required.
