Madden’s is currently seeking seasonal Market & Coffee Shop Manager This position will assist customers with purchases at Madden Brother’s Market. This position is looking for candidates who can work through the end of October.
Qualifications:- Create schedules to ensure correct coverage is met depending on occupancy of resort.
- Conduct monthly inventory and ordering of products when needed.
- Follow weekly order guides to ensure proper inventory levels are met and remove expired products.
- Supervise daily operations.
- Create and perform opening and closing procedures for the market and update checklists as needed.
- Process sales transactions utilizing POS system.
- Ensure products are being rotated properly and according to their expiration date.
- Create and follow recipes for both hot & cold beverages.
- Participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and create cleaning checklists.
- Assist customers with questions and concerns.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Skills and Abilities:
- Organized, great communication, decisive & flexible.

- Must be able to work alongside other people and independently.
- Time management.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Barista or equivalent experience preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will supervise 6-8 Market employees.
Work Environment:
Work is performed mostly in our Maddens Market.
Physical Demands:
Primarily walking or standing for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk/hear, both in person and by telephone, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 40lbs.
Expected Hours of Work:
Variable schedule with nights and weekends required.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel required.
Salary : $21 - $23
