Madden’s is currently seeking the position of Banquet & Event Setup for our summer 2026 season.
Qualifications:- Prepares function site assures meeting room is set according to specifications.
- May serve food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.
- Sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas as according to Banquet Event order or as directed.
- Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager.
- Helps to maintain clean meeting rooms, event spaces, catering kitchen, coolers, and equipment.
- Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.
- Ensures the guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in multiple outlets and facilities.
Physical Demands:
Primarily stationary such as sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk/hear, both in person and by telephone, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50-pound boxes and items sometimes repeatedly.
Expected Hours of Work:
Variable hours based on event schedule; this is a night and weekend position. Hours primarily 2:30 pm Start time but can vary from 12:00pm to 4:00 pm shifts lasting until 1:30 am
2:30pm – 11:00pm with some Monday through Friday with occasional nights and weekends.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel required.
