Position Summary
Sets up and operates thread machines.
Required Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Certifications / Licenses
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
- 1-year prior manufacturing environment.
Desired Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Certifications / Licenses
- Able to read blueprints.
- Experience with use of measuring equipment such as calipers & tape measures
- Forklift and Overhead Crane Certificate of completion.
Physical Requirements
- Independent mobility within plant and work area frequently.
- Standing/walking up to 10 hours
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle product and equipment for up to 9 hours.
- Driving forklifts occasionally
- Working overhead cranes occasionally
- Reading, writing, talking to communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership
- Lifting up to 60 lbs. occasionally
- Push/pull up to 60 lbs. occasionally at waist level
