About the Role

As a part-time Team Merlin Custodian, you will help to create lifelong memorable experiences in our attraction for our guests.  You will MAKE their first impression A MEMORABLE ONE. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the attraction, this includes daily upkeep of all public and behind the scenes areas, health and safety, and customer interaction. 

Qualifications & Experience

•  To maintain a pleasant and approachable manner towards our visitors at all times.
•  To greet all visitors with eye contact, a smile and a verbal greeting on every interaction.
•  To ensure that your uniform is clean and tidy and that your name badge is worn at all times.
•  Ensure all cleaning equipment and chemicals are kept in good condition and stored in one place, and secured from guest
•  Complete daily upkeep in all areas of the center
•  Complete daily upkeep checks to include but not limited to: Trash removal, hourly rest room cleaning, floor maintenance, windows and attractions located in the center. 
•  Completion of duties (set by the Technical Manager) to a high standard.
•  General cleanliness and tidiness of all “behind the scenes” areas in addition to public areas.
•  To do any other reasonable duty as detailed by the Technical Manager or any other member of the Attraction management team.
•  To follow opening and closing procedures as detailed in the departments operating plan. 
•  Responsibility to ensure compliance of Health, Safety & Security within the workplace and in line with the Group Policy (HS001).
•  Understand risk assessments within own workplace and ensure reporting of any new risks to appropriate line manager.
•  Responsible for ensuring that all employees follow safe working practices.
•  Ensure own compliance of safe working procedures in place for work activities within job role.
•  In cases of incidents or accidents ensure appropriate reporting is completed in a timely manner and if necessary the corrective action has been taken to avoid repeat of such incidents and accidents.
