What are the responsibilities and job description for the Algebra 1 teacher position for weekday evening position at Madame Curie School (Pre-School)?
Need a part time Algebra 1 math teacher available during weekday evenings 6 to 9 pm and weekends during 10 am to 2 pm to teach pre algebra and algebra 1 to group class. We are a supplemental enrichment educational after school program targeting above average students to help them prep for higher grades in schools and to to get into some magnets and stem high schools in the area.
Should have a teaching experience of at least 2 to 3 years in a public school. Salary range is from $50 to $100 per hour depending on candidates education, teaching experience and number of student's enrollment. We have our own set curriculum and weekly lesson plans, class meets for once per week for 2 hours( algebra 1) and one hour (pre algebra). Part time teacher is required to instruct the group of student in classroom setting on the smart board, grade the lessons and homework, upkeep the records in the Google classroom and communicate to parents with the student's performance and learning.
