What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trainer position at MADabolic?
Why This Role is For You:
MADabolic is the industry’s top strengh & conditioning franchise. In a culture saturated with “the next big fitness trend,” consider us renegades. No fads or gimmics, we simply execute what works. If you’re a high performer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can lead a team to deliver consistent, exceptional results, this is the role for you. This isn’t just another fitness job, it’s your chance to make an impact with a brand that demands excellence.
Your Mission:
Trainers at MAD are known for being some of the best in the industry. No mics, no high-fives; instead, you provide 1:1 movement corrections. Rather than cheering clients on to get in one more rep, you’ll teach them to move with proper form to build real strength.
As a MADabolic trainer, you aim to be the best part of your client's day by greeting them in the lobby, taking a genuine interest in their lives, and delivering a world-class experience on the training floor.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Up to $60 per class (base bonus), depending on experience and class attendance
- Free membership to take classes at all MADabolic locations
- Employee discount on all retail items
- Paid travel for MADabolic Training Camp
- Leadership and growth opportunities within the business
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have an accredited training certification (StrongFirst Kettlebell Level 1, BioForce Conditioning, USA Weightlifting, NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.) - not required at the time of application but must be completed before you can teach class.

- Must have excellent movement mechanics and the physical strength and cardiovascular endurance to pass a rigorous fitness test-out series.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to command a room.
- Weekend availability may be required. Early morning and/or evening availability preferred.
- Hungry for growth — you thrive on learning and are open to feedback to continually improve.
- Availability to travel to Charlotte, NC, for a 2-day Training Camp.
- Belief in the MADabolic brand and our philosophy on fitness and nutrition.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coach a minimum of 4-6 classes per week.
- Prepare for class in advance by studying key points of performance and arrive ready to professionally deliver class instructions, demo, warmup, and 1:1 movement cues to clients throughout class.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and structured training floor.
- Practice what you preach by training at MAD 2-4x/week.
