At Mad Science of DC, we are having a BLAST! We bring fun, hands-on science to kids through our summer camps, after-school programs, assemblies, and birthday parties across the DMV.
Behind the scenes, it takes a lot of coordination to deliver amazing programs to thousands of kids each summer, and that’s where you come in.
As a Summer Driver, you’ll play a key role in keeping our camps running smoothly by delivering equipment and supplies to multiple locations each day.

As a Summer Driver, you’ll play a key role in keeping our camps running smoothly by delivering equipment and supplies to multiple locations each day.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Mid-June through late August (exact dates flexible based on availability)
- Deliver daily camp supplies and equipment to 5–8 camp locations
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly
- Pick up used equipment from camp locations
- Keep materials organized and ensure each site receives the correct supplies
- You will NOT be transporting children
- Is organized and takes pride in doing the job right
- Has strong attention to detail
- Is reliable and able to work independently
- Is comfortable with physical work; you'll have a high quality cart, but the kits can still be heavy
- Lives locally and can commute daily to our Silver Spring office
- Can pass a background check
- Is available full-time for the summer
- Has experience driving larger vehicles (preferred)
- Will be at least 21 years old by May 1, 2026
