Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Meat/Fish Cutter to join the team at our successful store. As a Fish Cutter, you will be responsible for operating the fresh fish department to the high standards set forth by the company. You will trim and prepare standard cuts of fish as specified in-store guidelines. The Fish Cutter’s goal is to drive sales within the department and maximize profitability.
Responsibilities
- Cut and trim fish using knives and proper equipment
- Display fish in an attractive manner
- Maintain appropriate levels of stock
- Receive and inspect fish as it arrives to the store
- Ensure the cold chain is unbroken and fish remains high quality
- Follow high standards of sanitation, proper rotation, and quality control
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma/GED required
- Experience using meat cutting equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 30lbs
Salary : $15 - $17
