We are seeking a experienced Landscaper Gardener to maintain and enhance residential gardens as part of a small, close-knit team. This role involves year-round consistent work focused on organic fine gardening.
Responsibilities
- Plant identification, weeding, pruning & maintenance.
- Organic IPM.
- Use battery powered tools, orchard ladders, trucks safely.
- Maintain basic irrigation systems.
- Efficiently manage your time on site and at our shop.
- Have a professional, positive, team-building attitude, with a focus on excellent client service.
- Use Google shared drive files, accurately track & record daily hours & materials used.
- Maintain garden aesthetics & cleanliness.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in horticulture.
- Proficient in plant ID, installation, maintenance, pruning & organic IPM.
- Efficient & productive time management.
- Have a professional, team-building attitude, with a focus on excellent client service.
- Operate various battery-powered tools, pick-up trucks, ladders.
- Be physically & easily lift 50 lbs.
- Have basic knowledge of irrigation systems & their maintenance.
- Use Google drive files for billing & record keeping.
- Have valid Oregon driver's license & clean driving record.
- Fluent in spoken & written English.
- Pass criminal history check, & pruning test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate in horticulture or landscaping
