About the Role
The Dish Machine Operator (DMO) supports kitchen operations by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly cleaned and sanitized. This role operates commercial dishwashing equipment, maintains a clean and safe dish area, and supports overall sanitation and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate commercial dishwashing equipment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
- Attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous commercial kitchen or food service experience
- Familiarity with health department sanitation requirements
- Basic mechanical or troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Food safety or sanitation certification
Responsibilities
- Operate dish machines to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment
- Inspect items for cleanliness and rewash as needed
- Keep dishwashing areas clean and organized, including sinks, counters, and floors
- Monitor machine performance and report maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with organizing and storing clean kitchenware
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper chemical handling

Benefits:
Full time employees maintaining an average of 25 hours a week have an option to enroll in medical insurance and an HSA account while those who maintain 20 hours can choose to enroll in dental, vision, voluntary life, and pet Insurance. Employees are enrolled in the company’s 401k plan with an annual discretionary match after 500 hours of employment. Paid Time Off is available for all front of house employees and accrued at 1 hour for every 26 hours worked.
