What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rewind Operator position at Mactac North America?
POSITION PURPOSE:
Perform a variety of activities involved in the overall operation of a rewind machine.
1st Shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reads and understands work orders to determine customer product requirements.
- Sets up, adjusts, and runs equipment to meet customer requirements.
- Adjusts machine parameters to specified width of material as required.
- Inspect product during slitting process.
- Process all paperwork and computer data to complete customer orders.
- Coordinates with material handling on material movements required to meet shipping and/or stocking requirements.
- Conducts safety inspections of work area prior to and during shift.
- Performs any other activity as required for by Management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
•High School Diploma or GED is required
•Ability to use basic computer system's hardware and software
