Production Coordinator

Location: Washington DC Metro Area

Hourly Rate: $25 – $30 per hour

Position Overview: MacroHype is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Part-Time Production Coordinator and Event Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support event setups and manage audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, computers, DJ gear, and lighting. The ideal candidate should be comfortable lifting heavy equipment and committed to helping ensure our events operate seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and dismantling sound equipment, lighting, and DJ systems for events.
• Transport equipment to and from event locations throughout Virginia, Maryland, and DC.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure all equipment operates smoothly.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to all safety protocols during equipment setup and transportation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 kg (110 lbs).
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Clear criminal background.
• Experience in event production or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and good communication skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel within Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC for events.
  
  

Schedule

• This is a part-time role with flexible hours based on event schedules, including evenings and weekends.
