Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our manufacturing and distribution facilities. Your leadership will ensure all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards, driving continuous improvement in our maintenance management processes.
Duties
- Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems, including HVAC units, plumbing, electrical circuits (including high and low voltage), and mechanical equipment.
- Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues accurately.
- Implement maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize equipment uptime.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate projects involving facilities upgrades or repairs, managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
- Conduct inspections using tools such as ohmmeters to verify electrical system integrity and troubleshoot electrical faults.
Experience
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance teams in manufacturing or similar environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience maintaining HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical circuits (including high voltage), and low voltage wiring.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial maintenance, electrical work, high voltage systems, and general facilities management.
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and maintenance planning.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while fostering a safety-first culture.
