What role will you play?
Partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders—including front office teams and senior management—you’ll identify, communicate, and manage opportunities to drive more efficient outcomes across the organisation. Collaborating closely with the broader Finance group, you’ll assess and manage risks associated with new proposals, ensuring alignment with Macquarie’s strategic objectives and risk appetite.
Salary range for this position: $125,000 - $150,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. What You Offer
- CPA qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in accounting advisory or transaction advisory roles—ideally within banking, financial services, or commodities.
- Strong knowledge of accounting for Financial Instruments and Revenue Recognition. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex accounting issues for diverse stakeholders.
- A commercial mindset, translating accounting theory into practical, commercially viable solutions.
