What are the responsibilities and job description for the Python Developer position at Macquarie Global Services?
We are a diverse delivery team consisting of three Business Analysts, three Full-Stack Developers, a UI/UX Designer and a Project Manager across two timezones. We utilise agile methodologies and multi-phase testing to release high-quality software for Macquarie's Principal Finance Operations team on a monthly cadence.

Reporting to the project Lead Developer and working closely with Business Analysts, you will be part of the development team, making sure that solutions meet the high-quality standards of our clients. You will deliver high quality software that is thoroughly tested and optimised and you will be build solutions and integrations from requirements. You will also experiment with technologies that can solve complex business problems, provide maintenance to the existing codebase and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform design and architecture.
Salary range for this position: $112,000-150,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer

- Computer science or Engineering degree
- 2 years of Python development and Cloud experience
- AI, tuning / training / prompt engineering
- Front-End coding, particularly Angular but React is also OK
- Defensive coding techniques and creative problem solving
