Are you an experienced Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with a passion to join a team that impacts the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities? MRI is seeking a full-time Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our growing team of Behavioral Health professionals to provide Behavioral Health services to the persons we serve.
This is a 100% on-site position at our Decatur, Illinois campus with no hybrid or remote arrangements at this time.

Qualifications:- Must meet Illinois QMHP requirements
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or dual diagnosis (DD/MI)
- Strong understanding of developmental disabilities, mental illness, and person centered treatment
- Ability to make sound clinical decisions and adapt in fast changing situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Illinois driver’s license, reliable transportation, and required auto insurance
- Ability to complete CPR/First Aid certification and required agency training
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological and diagnostic assessments using standardized tools
- Develop, update, and monitor Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans (IATP)
- Provide outpatient behavioral health services including therapy, counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and community supports
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust treatment goals
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in electronic records
- Work collaboratively with individuals served, families/ guardians, staff, and community providers
- Support regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and staff training initiatives
- Ensure confidentiality, safety standards, and ethical clinical practices are followed
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
