Position Overview
We are seeking professional, polished, and service-oriented individuals to join our team in a banquet service role. In this position, you will help create memorable experiences for guests by delivering attentive, efficient, and high-quality food and beverage service during events, meetings, receptions, and celebrations.
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and service stations according to event specifications.
- Greet guests courteously and provide attentive, timely service throughout each event.
- Serve plated meals, buffet items, beverages, and refreshments in a professional manner.
- Clear tables, reset spaces, and maintain cleanliness and organization before, during, and after events.
- Assist with event breakdown, including proper storage of equipment, dishes, and service items.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, supervisors, and event personnel to ensure smooth service flow.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Respond promptly to guest needs and special requests with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
Qualifications
- Previous food and beverage service experience preferred, especially in banquet, catering, restaurant, or hospitality settings.
- Ability to provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
