Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse/Delivery Associate, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and organizing inventory in the warehouse, as well as safely transporting goods using various types of commercial vehicles. Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload products using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Prepare and organize shipments for delivery, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
- Drive commercial vehicles, including box trucks.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by communicating clearly, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Follow route plans efficiently, managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock, and maintaining a clean, organized environment
Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or delivery driving preferred
- Proven ability to operate box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other loading equipment safely
- Experience with route driving and load & unload procedures in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, moving items, and standing or walking for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is a plus
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and warehouse procedures
