Macomb Post Acute Care Center is seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Director to join our team full-time. In this role, you'll create and lead engaging programs that enhance the daily lives of our residents while promoting socialization, recreation, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and leading group and individual activities
- Organizing seasonal events, games, and recreational programs
- Encouraging resident participation and engagement
- Assisting residents to and from activities as needed
- Creating programs tailored to residents' interests and abilities
Compensation:
- Base Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
- With CNA Certification: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with elderly residents preferred
- CNA certification is a plus
- Positive, outgoing, and dependable personality
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
