Seeking applications for
Full-time 911 Telecommunicator Trainees
Work includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
Duties include operating a computer-aided dispatch system to
dispatch public safety personnel and receive calls from
citizens requesting emergency and non-emergency services.
On the job training will be provided.
Full-time pay starts at $44,113.96 and increases to $47,709.25 after one year
Night shift differential pay added on to the above
$1,200 bonus after one year of full-time dispatching
Health/vision/dental, IMRF retirement
Lateral transfer program available
Applicants must meet the minimum standards:
- Be 18 years of age
- Graduate from high school or the equivalent
- No felony convictions
