Job Description:
Develop and support automated RF test solutions for MACOM products, working closely with Product Engineering, R&D, and Manufacturing to ensure high-quality, repeatable, and efficient production test coverage. This role requires hands-on hardware and software expertise, strong analytical skills, and ownership of test strategies from concept through qualification and production.
Key Responsibilities:
This position is eligible to receive restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM’s discretion, subject to individual and company performance.

Job Description:
Develop and support automated RF test solutions for MACOM products, working closely with Product Engineering, R&D, and Manufacturing to ensure high-quality, repeatable, and efficient production test coverage. This role requires hands-on hardware and software expertise, strong analytical skills, and ownership of test strategies from concept through qualification and production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test systems for MACOM RF and mixed-signal products.
- Define and execute test strategies and solutions aligned with product requirements and manufacturing needs.
- Participate in test board design, layout reviews, bring-up, and hardware debug.
- Perform test data analysis, identify trends, and generate formal technical reports.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including procedures and specifications
- Collaborate closely with Product Engineering and R&D to support new product introductions (NPI) and ensure consistent device performance and quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize product quality, reduce manufacturing cycle time, and ensure first-pass qualification success.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in a fast-paced production environment.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience, or M.S. in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong theoretical understanding of RF test and measurement principles.
- Hands-on experience with hardware debugging and test system bring-up.
- Proficiency in software development (e.g., scripting, C, C ) for test automation.
- Working knowledge of lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
- Basic understanding of statistics for test data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and planning abilities.
- Self-motivated, ownership-driven individual who can work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment with a strong desire to learn.

Salary : $70,000 - $113,000
