Planner/Scheduler 3
Job Description:
Located in Lowell, MA, this Production Control Coordinator shall be part of the Die Business team reporting into the Die Business Manager. The Die Business Production Control Coordinator shall utilize MACOM’s ERP (SAP), shop floor control system (Eyelit) and configuration management system (Agile) to help track and move semiconductor wafer material from foundry receipt through final die and customer source inspection. As part of the Die Business Team, the coordinator will interface with material planning, stockroom, engineering, foundry and production personnel. Responsibilities include:
This Position is primarily a Monday through Friday role supporting production planning and manufacturing operations. To support customer commitments and production objectives, Saturday/overtime work is a regular and required component to this position. Candidates should expect consistent opportunities for overtime while maintaining a predictable work schedule. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced manufacturing environment, value ownership of operational results.

Planner/Scheduler 3
Job Description:
Located in Lowell, MA, this Production Control Coordinator shall be part of the Die Business team reporting into the Die Business Manager. The Die Business Production Control Coordinator shall utilize MACOM’s ERP (SAP), shop floor control system (Eyelit) and configuration management system (Agile) to help track and move semiconductor wafer material from foundry receipt through final die and customer source inspection. As part of the Die Business Team, the coordinator will interface with material planning, stockroom, engineering, foundry and production personnel. Responsibilities include:
- Using the ERP, the shop floor control system and the automated tracking tools to provide daily production status.
- Maintaining WIP status (Work Orders) report with counts that align with Production Tracker. Identify discrepancies and work to resolve differences (scrap, rework, split lots…). Facilitate slow/no moving WIP (aging).
- Helping to stage material at each operation with associated work order travelers and any related documentation. Make sure that the material is moved safely and within the proper packaging.
- Works with Production Management and Materials Management/Planning to facilitate products availability and production readiness.
- Participating in daily production meetings to be aware of schedules and any hot priority products.
- Reporting material and quality issues back to Operation’s management and materials group for reconciliation and to help with root cause and corrective actions.
- Helping to ensure clear marking and labeling of raw material and work in process to minimize confusion and support material availability and locating material efficiently. Kanban
- Maintaining an active knowledge of all work in process to aid in providing a delivery status to our customers.
- Maximizing production through-put while maintaining product integrity. Minimize product queue times.
- Assisting in closing out open material transactions tied to work orders not completely processed.
- The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, problem solver and proactive process owner. They will collaborate and share their knowledge with others to help develop the organization and their peers.
- Bachelor’s degree in a major related to production control or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance, project management or a related field.
- Prior ERP and shopfloor control experience required. SAP experience is required. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience using SAP to manage Production Orders, Monitor material availability, analyze Work Orders and preform Cycle Counts.
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
- Experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook/Skype)
- Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, works well with teammates, and has a results-based mindset and proven track record of success
- Willingness and enthusiasm to take on aggressive goals and a commitment to achieve them.
