Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Programming: Load tooling, select dies, and input or adjust CNC programs to achieve exact angles and dimensions.
- Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read technical specs, shop drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) symbols
- Quality Control & Inspection: Measure finished metal parts using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify tight tolerances
- Material Handling & Operation: Feed sheet metal into the press, run production batches, and safely operate forklifts or hoist equipment
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform daily and weekly equipment cleanings, inspect hydraulic systems, and fix minor bending errors or tooling issues.
- Safety Compliance: Follow OSHA guidelines, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and keep the workspace clear of scrap and oil spills.

Qualifications
- Experience: 3 years minimum
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent (technical or trade certifications are a plus).
- Technical Skills: Experience operating CNC or conventional press brakes, understanding metal characteristics, and reading blueprints.
- Math & Measurement: Strong working knowledge of shop math, angles, and precision measuring instruments.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, perform repetitive motions, and lift heavy metal pieces (often up to 50 lbs)
