Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Indiana, United States for an HVAC Technician. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC systems and equipment, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, rooftop units, and heat exchangers. Daily tasks may include performing preventive maintenance, responding to emergency repair requests, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and conducting energy efficiency evaluations. The role requires close collaboration with both team members and clients to meet operational goals effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC systems, such as chillers, boilers, air handling equipment, and heat exchangers
- Experience in preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and energy efficiency evaluations
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals
- Knowledge of HVAC control systems, including digital, pneumatic, and variable air volume (VAV) systems
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills for electrical panels, industrial exhaust systems, and computer room air conditioning units
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Relevant certifications such as EPA Section 608, and specialized HVAC training are preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a client-focused, safety-conscious environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or HVAC certification is a plus
