This role develops and executes sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials while leading a purchasing team and partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to achieve business objectives.

Job Duties
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
- Lead and develop a team of buyers responsible for procurement execution and supplier management.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance through structured scorecards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Production Planning and Operations to align procurement with demand forecasts, inventory targets, and production schedules.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts for direct materials and indirect services.
- Identify and deliver cost reduction, value engineering, and risk mitigation opportunities.
- Utilize ERP and procurement data to manage spend, monitor KPIs, and drive performance improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support global sourcing initiatives and manage supply chain risks affecting continuity of operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA or CPM/CPSM preferred).
- 7–10 years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
- Experience managing or leading purchasing teams.
- Exposure to global supply chains and ERP-based procurement systems.
