Job Summary
Schedules Work Centers in facility based on the capacity of the work center and available raw materials.
Job Duties
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to manufacture the product
- Work to resolve materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics
- May be responsible for working from blueprints to determine the specifications for the parts needed to produce the product
- Use MRP systems to manage available capacity, expedites, and service objectives.
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform work under general supervision
- Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
- Possess working knowledge of MRP
- Typically require a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
