What You’ll Do
- Work with 3PL Distribution and Transportation provider and liaise with its operations teams
- Prepare and distribute operations reports and Distribution Center activity metrics
- Gather data, design and maintain reports, spreadsheets and graphs for metrics reporting
- Review inventory and shipping transactions, research problems, and follow up on resolution
- Track receiving issues (non-conformance) and communicate discrepancies with MPS plants, following through to resolution
- Assist MPS Customer Service in researching shipping issues and work on problem-resolution
- Provide export documentation (Commercial Invoices), ensuring 100% compliance to prescribed standards
- Assist in the processing of Expedite orders to ensure timely shipping and delivery as requested by customers
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or related degree preferred
- Previous experience working in a warehouse/distribution center environment
- 1-3 years logistics operations, administrative support, and/or business metrics reporting experience
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, MS Office suite
- Strong analytical skills with a high-level of attention to detail and business process
- Strong skills in developing and presenting performance metrics reports
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with others
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data
- Ability to prepare and present comprehensive reports
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including preparing and presenting information
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed as needed
- WMS experience and knowledge preferred
- ERP system knowledge (JD Edwards preferred)
