- 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm (Monday - Friday)
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am (Sunday - Friday)
As a CNC Machinist, you will perform precision machining operations to create parts that meet exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine parts to specifications, performing precision machining operations.
- Operate various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Set up, adjust, and operate basic and specialized machine tools.
- Design fixtures, tooling, or experimental parts.
- Utilize complex technical tools, CAD, and CAM.
- Use hand tools as required.
- Follow specific processes and procedures as directed.
- Ensure work practices adhere to OSHA standards.
- Follow all safety standards outlined in policies and procedures.
- Perform data entry.
- Experience using complex tools, CAD, and CAM.
- Degree or Certification in CNC Machining, Right Skills Now for Manufacturing Course, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
- Ability to machine parts to specifications.
- Knowledge and use of gauges, micrometers, Vernier calipers, and charts to measure tolerance.
- Ability to accurately and effectively use computer programs for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to learn how to use machinery/equipment as needed.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Strong attendance record.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Detail process-oriented and organized.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen.
- Knowledge of mechanics.
- Extensive experience in CNC Machining.
- Understanding of the iron foundry process.
- Understanding of a manufacturing facility.
