Key Responsibilities
As a Production Engineer at Mackinnon & Partners, you will be responsible for the following key areas:
• Optimizing daily production to achieve business and plant goals (i.e. EH&S, quality, reliability, cost)
• Participating in advanced troubleshooting and coaching others to learn these skills
• Coordinating and assisting in implementation of minor plant system changes, including small equipment additions, modifications, and deletions, and minor process design
• Providing operational and technical support to project coordinators for large, extensive plant system changes, including operational review, assistance with cost/benefit analysis, and participating in Hazard Reviews
• Assisting in writing and reviewing Unit Operating Procedures in assigned areas of the Plant
• Supporting plant leadership with plant material balances, yields, closures, project design scope, etc.
• Performing special projects and studies as assigned, carrying out cost/benefit analysis for special projects
