Mackinac Straits Health System is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Surgical Supply Coordinator to support our surgical team and ensure the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Responsibilities Included:
* Duties will be spent coordinating supplies and ordering supplies, equipment and instrumentation in the surgery department. Coordination and ordering of specialty supplies. Equipment repair service coordination and tracking. Works closely with vendors.
* Responsible for overseeing the entire surgical supply chain process, including sourcing, procurement and inventory.
* Accountable for accurate patient billing of supplies.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
* Experience working in the surgery department in supply chain/equipment acquisition strongly preferred.
* Must have strong business skills.
* Excellent computer skills required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS required).
* Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Must be organized and able to balance multiple tasks on a daily basis.
* Exemplary attendance record required.
* Must be flexible with hours and days worked.
