Commercial Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Respond to scheduled service, preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations of heating and cooling systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC equipment such as package units, commercial split systems, mini-splits, VRF/VRV, VAV, air cooled chillers.
- Repair, replace and maintain equipment components such as compressors, blower/fan motors, pumps, actuators, and expansive valves.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Refrigeration equipment such as walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, ice machines, and low temp chill water systems.
- Repair, replace and or calibrate Basic controls.
- Comprehensive understanding of the refrigeration cycle, electrical theory and psychrometric principle.
- Ability to perform diagnostics on most HVAC equipment, including multi-stage and variable speed equipment.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of commercial HVAC experience
- 2-5 years of experience with tonnage systems, chillers, boilers, VFD, DX and Hydronics or ability to learn.
- CRM scheduling software use; preferred ServiceTitan
- EPA Universal Certification
- TDLR credential
- TWIC credential a plus but not required
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check.
