About the Role
Mackey Electrical Services Inc is seeking experienced Foremen to lead large-scale commercial electrical projects, with emphasis on multi-family developments. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage crews, maintain productivity, and ensure safety and quality on job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electricians and laborers on commercial/multi-family projects.
- Coordinate daily job site activities to meet project timelines and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and electrical codes.
- Serve as main site contact for project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct daily planning and briefings to ensure clarity and accountability.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and specifications.
- Oversee material deliveries and job site efficiency.
- Track and document project progress, incidents, and performance.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior electricians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Foreman on multifamily projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Preferred: Journeyman Electrician License.
- Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Proven ability to manage crews and maintain productivity.
- Experience with multi-family or large commercial projects preferred.
- Able to read blueprints and electrical plans accurately.
- Knowledge of local codes, OSHA standards, and safe work practices.
