Position OverviewMackenzie Health is currently seeking an Associate Active Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to service both sites, who would have access to available resources within the Department of Surgery, Division of Oral Surgery to provide a broad range of oral and maxillofacial services to our local community. The physician must complete a full credentialing application and must have their appointment approved by the Medical Advisory Committee and Board of Directors.
Responsibilities • Provide timely assessments of hospital consults at both Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital and Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.• Provide on-call coverage. • Support outpatient oral maxillofacial referrals from the Emergency Departments.

Education – Certification – Licenses• Dental degree approved by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).• Postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with Fellowship granted by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC).• Specialty Certification by the RCDSO.
