Role Summary
Seeking skilled Machine Adjusters specializing in W&D 627, W&D 628, and 102 high-speed envelope folding equipment. Responsible for precision setup, mechanical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to sustain production quality and efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- Machine Setups: Perform complete changeovers and adjustments on W&D 627/628/102 machines according to spec.
- Troubleshooting: Rapidly diagnose paper-path and timing issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
- Quality Control: Monitor fold accuracy, seal integrity, and print alignment throughout shifts.
- Maintenance: Execute routine preventative maintenance to ensure long-term operational reliability.
- Safety & Targets: Work alongside Machine Operators to safely meet speed and output goals.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years as an Adjuster in envelope manufacturing.
- Machine Expertise: Demonstrated work on W&D 627, 628, 102, or equivalent high-speed web/blank fed equipment.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude using hand tools and precision measuring devices.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
