This Project Engineer will travel approximately 50% of the time in Southern California.Key Responsibilities:Construction management/inspection activitiesDesign of water, wastewater, and other infrastructure systems and facilitiesPrepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of groundwater/wastewater projectsSupport project managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub-consultant coordinationIndustrial Process Control and Control Systems DesignAssist in proposal preparation, including oral presentations. Prepare the scope, schedule, and budget for new projectsWork within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projectsTake ownership of projects from start to finishReview submittals and RFIs, prepare designs for a variety of projects, keeping within budget and meeting timelines/milestonesMinimum Qualifications:3 years of relevant experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater project design At least one year of experience in field construction oversightBachelor's degree in Chemical or Civil EngineeringFamiliarity with Project Management platforms such as ACC is preferred.Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 is preferred.A P.E. license in California or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe is preferredAbility to establish and maintain stakeholder relationshipsAbility to learn and adaptAbility to manage several project tasks concurrentlyAbility to work independently on construction sitesSolid organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to establish and maintain relationships with multi-disciplinary team membersWhy join the MacKay Sposito team?A people-first culture - We are dedicated to our employees and their families. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.The annual wage range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000, depending on experience. Full-time employees receive a well-rounded benefit package including access to our company-sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. We also offer 100% company-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company 401k plan with up to a 4% match. Additionally, employees also receive paid vacation time, paid sick time, and 11 paid holidays and are eligible to participate in employee ownership offerings.
