Job Summary
The Wholesale Sales Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the Mackage and Soia North America sales teams with all wholesale-related tasks. This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations in market preparations, showroom management, order processing, and communication with wholesale partners.
What you’ll do
Wholesale Support:
- Own all off-price sell off in season and shipping logistics.
- Manage all copy and asset turnover for US wholesale majors.
- Responsible for setting up NuOrder for all Mackage collections.
- Set up and maintain in-season ATS, publishing updates weekly to the sales team.
- Facilitate communication for the SOIA sales team with agents.
- Support the sales team with store visits and product knowledge seminars.
- Assist the sales team with wholesale reporting and analytics.
- Support sales and planning for all Macy's Marketplace Drop Ship setup and maintence in season.
- Key all RA’s for speciality accounts.
- Participate in market appointments and support sales teams with follow-up as needed.
NY Showroom Sample Management:
- Ensure showroom maintenance meets visual merchandising standards.
- Maintain an organized sample closet to high standards.
- Initiate and manage sample returns to the warehouse.
- Receive, unpack, steam, and change hangers for all incoming samples.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design and PR teams on sample borrowings.
- Pull, pack, and ship all wholesale sample requests for US majors.
- Maintain and update the sample tracker to ensure accuracy.
- Process all marketing sample requests & shipping to and from accounts with approval from sales teams.
- Maintain updated sample inventory
What you’ll bring
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
- Wholesale experience preferred (internship experience included).
- Communication with leadership (a plus).
Technical skills & competencies:
- Energetic & resilient with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Basic Excel skills (VLOOKUP and ability to read and manipulate pivot tables).
- Ability to lift as much as 40 lbs and climb stockroom ladders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to local stores within the New York City Metropolitan Area.
