To assemble electronic components in a variety of printed circuit board assemblies encompassing Surface Mount and Pin Thru-hole technologies in a lean manufacturing environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow assembly procedures and process documentation
- Verify integrity of material to be assembled
- Assemble and or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards
- Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures
- Responsible for the accuracy of work-in-process
- Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space
- Pre-form component leads per process documentation
- Identify and report defective components
- Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 1 years’ experience in electronics
- Knowledge of component identification and component nomenclature
- Electronic component assembly skills
- Must pass soldering skills test and be proficient with soldering a led free produce
- Eco wiring ability is a plus
- Ability to read assembly procedures and follow process documentation in English
- Knowledge IPC Acceptability Guideline
- Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids
- Basic computer skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a lean team environment
- IPC 610 certified
- IPC -J-STD certified
