Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on-site. We work on lots of decks, doors, floors, trim and remodels. Pay is based off experience.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or concrete pouring
- Help with site measurements and layout as directed
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Reliable transportation to job sites is essential
