What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Mack Molding?
Summary:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accounting and financial reporting, as well as financial profitability analysis and other special projects as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Supports preparation of financial statements and entire reporting process.
- Provides analysis on financial statements.
- Prepares assigned standard accrual entries and adjusting entries based on analysis.
- Prepares account reconciliations, including but not limited to: fixed asset, intercompany, deferred revenue/expense, investment and bank reconciliation.
- Supports for year-end financial statement audit.
- Supports internal auditing programs.
- Prepares price checks for cross functional department review.
- Administration of Egencia travel account.
- Supports Accounts Payable team with vendor profile changes for ACH and Corporate Amex payment reconciliation.
- Recommends cost savings.
- May occasionally travel to other company locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred; related experience is a plus. CPA or MBA is a plus but not required.
