Job Description
Mack Jones Enterprises Inc. is hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators who are experienced in underground utilities excavation work with references. Years of experience and good skills are considered more valuable than education. All applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, E-verify, a DMV driver background check, a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation. MJE has immediate openings for four heavy equipment operators.
Qualifications
Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in utility installation of water mains
- MUST have experience with excavator, dozer, and/or rubber tire and skid steer loaders
- Ability to read and interpret plans.
- A proven safety record.
- Must have experience preforming pretrip inspections and day to day maintenance on heavy equipment.
- Class A CDL not a must but helpful.
- Follow all company safety policies including taking specific action to avoid other workers, other equipment, potential obstructions and marked or unmarked utility lines.
Additional Information
Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities:
- Operates equipment including excavator, dozer, trackhoe, loader (rubber tire and skid), truck dump and other heavy equipment.
- Performs routine daily maintenance on all trucks and heavy equipment, including fueling, servicing and minor mechanical repairs.
- Prepares daily reports of equipment hours, inventory and fuel used.
- Communicates with mechanics for truck and equipment repair.
- Coordinate with crew members in response to hand and /or audio signals.
