What You'll Do
As our Dispatcher / Production Scheduler, you will:
- Coordinate daily production schedules and delivery routes to meet customer expectations.
- Schedule production based on customer demand, manufacturing capacity, and available inventory.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Sales, Production, Logistics, and Customers.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely updates and accurate scheduling information.
- Monitor production timelines and proactively communicate schedule changes or delays.
- Maintain and update the facility's master production and delivery schedule.
- Coordinate raw materials, equipment, and staffing needs to meet production deadlines.
- Anticipate production demands and help ensure materials are available when needed.
- Perform a variety of administrative and scheduling tasks to support daily operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency, production flow, and customer service.
- Support plant management with supervisory responsibilities as business needs require.
- Continuously develop your skills and contribute to process improvements.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of manufacturing production and scheduling.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to prioritize work and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of dispatching or production scheduling experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience coordinating multiple departments and priorities simultaneously.
