Shipping Quality Clerk

Summary

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing and storing materials, and preparing orders for shipment. This position ensures inventory is handled efficiently, outbound orders meet quality and accuracy standards, and all duties are performed safely.

Essential Functions

· Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with inventory control activities.

· Pull stock orders and prepare materials for shipment.

· Verify outbound orders for accuracy, quantity, condition, and quality.

· Receive, organize, and put inventory away in designated storage locations.

· Package, label, and stage completed orders for shipment.

· Maintain clean, organized, and clearly identified inventory and shipping areas.

· Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

· Follow all established safety procedures and perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner.

· Properly operate material-handling equipment as trained and authorized.

· Complete required inventory and shipping documentation.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills. The qualifications may include:

· Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

· Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in their daily tasks.

· Ability to operate Microsoft software for data entry.

· Strong problem-solving skills to handle challenges and troubleshoot minor issues with office equipment and software.

· Ability of operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.

· Prior experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing or quality control are preferred.

· Awareness and use of safety precautions such a safety glasses, ear protection and shield, guards, lockout/tagout procedures

Physical Demands

· Required to stand, walk, use hands and arms to operate equipment

· Talk and hear

· Perform motions including bending, twisting, pushing and pulling

· Regularly required to lift, push or pull weight and/or carry objects weighing 5-50 pounds

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
