Building Maintenance

Summary

Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily duties of the upkeep of the plant, office, and grounds at Mack Hils, Inc. Opportunities to learn other plant roles are always available to anyone that is eager to learn.

Essential Functions

· Clean offices and shop floor daily; includes: production areas, restrooms, and breakroom, preforming duties such as sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, dusting, etc.

· Stock restrooms, breakroom and wash area daily.

· Keep inventory of necessary supplies and order when necessary.

· Run errands when needed.

· Responsible for upkeep of grounds such as mowing, trimming, maintenance of the parking lot and general cleanliness of the outside property of Mack Hils, Inc.

· Perform yearly cleaning jobs throughout plant.

· Unload / Load trucks when necessary.

Required Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

· Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

· Ability to operate forklift, mowing equipment and tractor.

· Has a current Missouri Driver’s License

· Regularly works near moving mechanical equipment

· Awareness and use of safety precautions such a safety glasses, ear protection and shield, guards, lockout/tagout procedures

Physical Demands

· Required to stand, walk, use hands and arms to operate equipment

· Talk and hear

· Perform motions including bending, twisting, pushing and pulling

· Regularly required to lift, push or pull weight and/or carry objects weighing 5-50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
