Responsibilities of the EA to CEO:
- Provide high-level executive support to the CEO, ensuring seamless daily operations
- Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and full travel logistics, including booking, itineraries, and adjustments
- Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining strong, professional relationships
- Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and board materials
- Support board meeting preparation, documentation, and follow-up actions
- Coordinate special projects and operational initiatives across the organization
- Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion
- Assist with light personal assistant tasks as needed
- Manage event planning, including both internal and external engagements
- Anticipate needs and proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency
- Provide flexible availability, including evenings and occasional weekends
Qualifications of the EA to CEO:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8 years of Executive Assistant experience, ideally supporting C-suite leadership
- Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Demonstrated experience working with boards, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to operate in fast-moving environments with exceptional attention to detail
- High initiative, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive, resourceful work style
- Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Comfortable with providing flexible hour support when necessary
