We are looking for an experienced machinist who has exceptional skills in CNC milling and/or CNC turning. The ideal candidate would be capable of floating from multiple machines in both the Mill and Lathe/Swiss side of the shop.
We are offering a unique opportunity for the right individual looking to take their career to the next level, and work on both sides of the shop. This individual would be conducting complex machine operations, setup, and programming in a production environment, meeting our ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Aerospace customer requirements, and contributing to the success of the company.
Essential Duties:
- Upload program files to the machine
- Setup, load, and operate CNC machines
- Read and edit G&D code and utilize conversational programming
- Setup and create fixtures on the machine
- Performs first article and in-process inspection
- Perform offset changes
- Install and adjust cutting tools in machine
- Use hand tools and other measuring tools to ensure part specifications are met
- Operate other machines and equipment as needed
- Perform maintenance on the CNC machines as needed
Skills/Knowledge:
- Ability to setup and operate multi-axis machines, and/or machines with live tooling.
- Experience editing G-Code as well as manual programming
- Experience performing multiple setups per day in a production environment
- Knowledge and experience with a variety of materials
- Fluent in English (Speak, Read, Write)
- Experience with Fanuc controls and Mori Seiki, Brother, Citizen CNC machines
- Bi-Lingual English/Spanish a plus
- ISO 9001:2015 / AS9100 experience a plus
Experience:
- 5 years with CNC lathes/swiss or mill setup and programming
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong math skills and the ability to work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications to perform operations.

Computer Skills:
- Computer knowledge including Windows and Office required.

Schedule:
- 1st Shift 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Monday - Friday
Pay:
- $30 - $36 /hour. Final compensation based on individual qualifications and experience.
- Eligible for bonus pay.
