Machinery Systems, Inc., a leading Midwest CNC machine tool distributor with a 49-year history, is immediately seeking a Tooling & Accessory Sales Representative.
Working from our Schaumburg, Illinois corporate headquarters, the Tooling & Accessory Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new orders for tooling and accessories from existing and potential customers. In this position, you will work closely with our Mazak sales team and Used Equipment Group throughout MSI’s market to achieve the monthly gross profit expectations established by the company.
Additionally, you will experience every aspect of the partnership between Machinery Systems, our vendors, and our customers. Acting as a direct point of contact for customers who are seeking machine tool accessories, tooling products, and fluids, assisting in product and application inquiries, marketing initiatives, expediting the sales process and following through on customer requests.
REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred minimum of 2 years in the machine tool industry with an end user, distributor, or builder of CNC machines or similar experience.
- Aggressively seeking value-add product opportunities to help our customers increase their productivity and profitability.
- Customer and prospect profile maintenance using Salesforce.com
- Prepare proposals and consult with customers on solutions
- Customer service and account development
- Participation and execution of marketing programs and events
- Report to management on customer relationships, pipeline, forecasts and new prospects
- Develop relationships with customers by utilizing our contact database, making phone calls, personal activities, events and various other methods
- Be the point of contact for vendor relationships, while fostering new vendor relationships
- Must hold and maintain an unrestricted driver's license.
