About the Role
Reporting to the Content Creative and Strategy Lead, the Content & Social Media Intern will help develop and execute Karpo's content strategy. You'll own day-to-day content creation and distribution, working closely with leadership to translate our lifestyle-focused AI brand into high-impact content that drives awareness, demand, and community trust.
What You'll Do
- Produce compelling short-form video content that showcases what Karpo can do.
- Own end-to-end video production — ideation, filming, editing, and publishing — including on-location shoots at restaurants, vintage shops, and local events that bring Karpo's recommendations to life.
- Manage content distribution across Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms, optimizing for reach, engagement, and consistency with Karpo's curated brand voice.
- Track content performance metrics and iterate based on insights and audience response.
- Maintain content calendars, organize digital assets, and keep campaigns running on schedule
- Shape and refine Karpo's content strategy, identifying opportunities to accelerate consumer growth, brand visibility, and engagement across NYC.
What You Bring
- Strong, hands-on video production skills with experience producing short-form content end-to-end, from concept through distribution.
- A solid understanding of social media platforms and the trends that drive performance on each.
- Comfort being on camera and engaging directly with users, local business owners, and partners.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Currently based in New York City.
Nice to Have
- A strong visual eye for distinct aesthetics.
- An existing following or proven traction on social media.
- Deep knowledge of NYC's food, nightlife, and cultural scenes.
