Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Engineer, located in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and automated solutions. Responsibilities include creating detailed machine designs using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, conducting research and development for new projects, and managing end-to-end project lifecycles. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and adherence to quality and safety standards will also be integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Experience in leading Research and Development (R&D) initiatives
- Demonstrated skills in Project Management and the ability to oversee complex projects from concept to completion
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and precision
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
- Experience in automation, robotics, or related industries preferred
